Summary:Today is the first day I got Canon EOS C300 camcorder from my company. It’ll be my job to shoot movies with it for the company. This is really full of challenge! But I did run into many troubles. One of them is the conversion from 24P MXF to Final Cut Pro with Sync.
Canon EOS C300 camcorder takes what professionals love about DSLR filmmaking. It is able to record 24P MXF. 24P refers to a video format that operates at 24 frames per second frame rate with progressive scanning. Originally, 24p was used in the non-linear editing of film-originated material. Today, 24p formats are being increasingly used for aesthetic reasons in image acquisition, delivering film-like motion characteristics. Some vendors advertise 24p products as a cheaper alternative to film acquisition. And I think, with this remarkable machine, I can be competent for this job.
How to solve 24P MXF to Final Cut Pro out of Sync?
As far as I got the MXF files from Canon EOS C300, I felt confused. I ran into a troublesome problem – 24P MXF to Final Cut Pro out of Sync. I shot a project with the Canon C300 in 24p mode, uploaded the files on my hard drive. When I drag a clip to Final Cut Pro, its audio is out of sync with the footage. I felt worried and didn’t know how to fix it until I tried Aunsoft TransMXF Pro for Mac.

Step 4: Easily convert 24P MXF to Final Cut Pro with Sync.
Click the yellow arrow icon to convert Canon MXF files to MOV for Final Cut Pro. With just a click on “Open output folder”, you can locate the export MOV files easily.
Tips: This efficient program supports batch conversion. You can go to sleep when Aunsoft TransMXF Pro for Mac processes batch conversion via a click on “shut down computer” after conversion.
After I got the converted MOV from Final Cut Pro, I edited it in Final Cut Pro. The edited videos turned out to be wonderful with audio sync. I’m so excited our boss spoke highly of my first work!
